Drone temporary restricted to fly in Kai Tak and HK Stadium

The Hong Kong Police Force reminded members of the public that temporary restricted flying zones (RFZs) will be established in the area around the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground and the Hong Kong Stadium from today to July 31, in order to facilitate special events and ensure public safety. No small unmanned aircraft (SUA), except those authorised, will be permitted to enter these zones.
The two temporary RFZs will cover areas extending two kilometers outwards from the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground and the Hong Kong Stadium respectively.
The Police reminded the public that any person who operates an SUA within an RFZ without permission shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $100 000 and to imprisonment for two years.
