At least 73 people were killed while attempting to access aid at locations across Gaza today, the health ministry said.
This as Pope Leo XIV renewed his call for an immediate ceasefire to the 22-month conflict that has claimed more than 58,000 Palestinian lives.
Pope Leo XIV, in his Sunday Angelus, urged the international community to respect international law and the obligation to protect civilians.
The pontiff said at the end of his address: "I once again call for an immediate end to the barbarity of this war and for a peaceful resolution to the conflict."
Pope Leo also expressed his "deep sorrow" for the Israeli attack on the only Catholic church in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, which killed three people and wounded 10 others.
Israel expressed regret over what it described as an accident and said it was investigating.
