Flights back in the air at HK airport

Flights are resuming at Hong Kong International Airport.

The Airport Authority say around 500 flights were cancelled or delayed today, 400 have been rescheduled.

This as most arrivals to the city this morning were relatively unaffected.

The Airport Express increased the frequency of services, extending train operations by three hours. 

Airport authorities noted that more than 3,000 passengers, that arrived in the city via 36 flights between midnight and 6am, have left the airport.
