The Hong Kong Observatory has issued the No. 9 increasing gale or storm signal at 7.20 a.m.
Today will see gale force north to northeasterly winds, storm force offshore and on high ground, becoming east to southeasterlies later.
It will be cloudy to overcast with frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
