Canadian steel quota to affect Chinese import

Canada will impose an additional tariff of 25 percent on steel product imports from China.
The policy, which also targets other countries, is championed by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to restrict tariff-free import of foreign steel to help domestic manufacturers.
Carney said his government will invest in Canadian steel workers and production, and look to Canadian steel for large-scale Canadian projects.
