A worker was injured at a construction site at the Peak.
The male worker was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital after the incident which unfolded at around 3 p.m.
Reportedly, foundation works were underway when some construction materials fell onto the ground while a crane was lifting them.
The materials hit some metal poles on the ground and the metal poles struck a man working nearby.
The worker sustained an injury to his left leg and was conscious while being taken to hospital.
The police have classified the case as an industrial accident and are investigating the cause of the incident.
Records show that a fatal industrial accident occurred at the site in 2023, resulting in the death of a worker.
