Milky-white lake in Inner Mongolia

Baiyin Chagan Lake in Inner Mongolia is a natural alkaline lake, which resembles a pool of milk.
Due to geological changes, large amounts of minerals accumulated at the bottom of the lake which are stirred up by the natural flow of lake water, giving the water a milky-white colour.
