Hong Kong Book Fair 2025 opens today

The annual Hong Kong Book Fair opened this morning at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wanchai, and will be held for seven consecutive days starting today.

The book fair opened to the public from 10am, and some keen residents immediately rush to buy their favourites.

The theme of this year's book fair is "Food Culture, Future Life". The opening hours are from 10am to 10pm. On the last day, next Tuesday, it will open earlier at 9am and close at 5pm.

The admission fee is HK$30 for adults and HK$10 for children. Seniors aged 65 or above are free.

The book fair has been held since 1990. This year is the 35th edition. People born in 1990 can enter for free. 

The organiser Hong Kong Trade Development Council expects to attract more than 1 million visitors, including both locals and tourists.
