The best performing student is a male student from the Hong Kong Chinese Women's Club College in the Eastern District in Hong Kong Island. He got 5** in 7 subjects, in addition to 5** in Mathematics Extended Part, becoming the "ultimate top scorer". He hopes to become a doctor in the future.

As for the "super top scorers" with 5** in 6 subjects, in addition to 5** in Mathematics Extended Part, one is from Po Leung Kuk Tung Yuk Tai College.

There is one from La Salle College in Kowloon Tong, one from Hong Kong Taoist Association Tang Hin Memorial Secondary School in Sheung Shui, one from Wah Ying School, one from Queen's College, one from King's College, among others.
