Trump gives Putin 50-day ultimatum to end war on Ukraine

U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday announced a new plan to arm Ukraine with billions of dollars worth of American weapons, including Patriot air defence systems, and NATO allies will foot the bill. 

Trump also threatened Russia with severe tariffs if President Vladimir Putin doesn't sign on to a peace deal to end the war within 50 days.
