Trump will send weapon systems to help Ukraine via NATO

NATO's Secretary General Mark Rutte says Donald Trump has made a big decision to sell Patriot missile defence systems and weapons to Ukraine.
Trump has threatened Russia and Vladimir Putin with trade tariffs if they don't negotiate a truce within 50 days.
The military equipment Trump is offering Ukraine will be sent via NATO.
Rutte has been meeting the U.S. President who insists his aim is to stop the conflict.
Trump said:"We make the best and we are going to be sending the best to NATO and in some cases to maybe at Mark's suggestion we go to Germany where they are going to send early-on missiles and they'll be replaced an NATO is going to take care of it.It is going to be coordinated bY NATO."
Rutte praised Trump for taking a decision: "This is really big, this is really big.You called me on Thursday and that
you had taken a decision and the decision is that you want. Ukraine to have what it needs to have to maintain to be able to defend itself against Russia but you want the Europeans to pay for it which is totally logical.
