Two women died Sunday in a shooting rampage at a church in the U.S. state of Kentucky.
The incident began when a state trooper was shot and wounded after making a traffic stop. The suspect in both shootings was also killed.
The suspect hijacked a vehicle after a traffic stop near Lexington's airport and fled to Richmond Road Baptist Church, where he opened fire.
Two women, aged 72 and 32, were killed in the shooting. Two others were wounded and taken to a local hospital.
The suspect, who was shot by police and died at the scene, was not immediately identified.
Police say preliminary information indicates the suspect may have had a connection to the individuals at the church.
