Chief Executive John Lee met with
American stand-up comedian Jimmy O. Yang.
The agency of O. Yang posted on Weibo that as an alumnus of Wah Yan College Hong Kong, Jimmy O. Yang recently met with Lee who also attended Wah Yan College Kowloon.
Also present was Nicholas Ho, Commissioner for Belt and Road
who was O. Yang's former schoolmate, and the trio talked about their school life.
The city leader praised O. Yang's performances for having captivated global audiences and showcased Hong Kong's cultural inclusivity and vibrancy.
The CE added with new concert venues and improved booking policies, Hong Kong aims to attract more international artists to perform in the city.
