Metropol Restaurant in Admiralty to close town at end of September

The 36-year-old Metropol Restaurant in Admiralty will close down at the end of September.
The restaurant posted a notice today, saying September 27th would be its last day of operations.
It thanked customers for their support over the years and employees for their dedication.
It is understood the owner of the restaurant had earlier notified employees that because of changes in Hong Kong people's consumption patterns and the worsening economic environment, he decided to sell the property, which will be handed over to the new owner at the end of September.
Employees will be laid off in accordance with labour laws.
