Ferry schedules adjusted to facilitate Shandong aircraft carrier departure

The Shandong aircraft carrier and its accompanying warships will complete its tour in the city tomorrow.
This as several ferry routes will be adjusted during peak hours in the morning to facilitate the military vessels' departure.
The Transport Department announced nine outlying island ferry services on the Western Fairway will be suspended between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
They include routes between Central and Cheung Chau, Mui Wo, Peng Chau, Lamma Island, Discovery Bay and Ma Wan.
Some ferries that will depart earlier than usual.
Passengers can board ferries travelling from Cheung Chau, Peng Chau, Yung Shue Wan and Discovery Bay to Tsuen Wan West free of charge.
Cross-harbour ferry routes from locations such as Wan Chai, Central and Tsim Sha Tsui could experience sudden schedule adjustments of up to 30 minutes in accordance with the situation.
