A woman drowned in waters off Tung Ping Chau pier

A woman was found unconscious in waters off the Tung Ping Chau Pier and died after being sent to hospital for emergency treatment.
A 59-year-old woman was taken to the Eastern Hospital by Government Flying Service helicopter.
Police received a report at about 3 p.m. that the woman had drowned in waters off the Tung Ping Chau Pier and was in a coma when she was rescued.
She later died from her injuries after being taken to hospital.
