Ceremony to celebrate the arrival of PLA Navy's aircraft carrier Shandong

A ceremony was held at the Ngong Shuen Chau Naval Base to welcome the arrival of a Chinese naval fleet led by aircraft carrier Shandong.
Among the flotilla, guided-missile frigate Yuncheng and guided-missile destroyer Zhanjiang berthed at the Ngong Shuen Chau Naval Base.
Navy officers carried out a traditional ceremonial gesture -- manning the rail. More than a hundred of students gathered at the dock to welcome the vessels.
Chief Executive John Lee and Director of Beijing's liaison office in Hong Kong Zhou Ji were among the guests who took part in the ceremony.
