CE John Lee says Hong Kong is like a butterfly 'broken out of its cocoon'

Chief Executive John Lee reviewed his three-year term by using an analogy -- that Hong Kong should uphold the spirit of "breaking out of the cocoon and becoming a butterfly".
John Lee earlier went to the Butterfly Garden at the Wetland Park in Tin Shui Wai and uploaded a clip to his social media page.
While admiring the butterflies, he thought Hong Kong was like a butterfly.
He said breaking out of the cocoon and becoming a butterfly is very philosophical.
He said a "cocoon" can be seen as restrictive, with difficulties and challenges, just like every stage of development in Hong Kong, so we must take the initiative to "break out of the cocoon".
Lee said the SAR government has also "broken out of the cocoon" to reform and change.
He said during his term, he changed the governance culture and established a government with "results as the goal".
