A ban on power banks for mobile phones without China's Compulsory Certification, or 3C certification, has come into effect on mainland domestic flights.
This comes after recent cases involving fires and smoke on flights caused by lithium battery products.
At Shenzhen's Bao'an International Airport, clear signage are placed to remind travellers about the new rule.
Many passengers have questions about whether their power banks can be brought onto planes.
Mainland domestic flight passengers are now prohibited from bringing onto planes power banks that lack the 3C certification, have unclear certification markings, or have been subject to recall.
