At least 19 people have been killed in Egypt after a truck collided with a minibus carrying workers near Ashmoun City in the Nile Delta region.
Only three people survived the smash that left mangled metal and a destroyed vehicle.
Footage from the aftermath shows most of the bus was squashed under the weight of the truck.
The victims families will be compensated with about 4,000 U.S. dollars, with an investigation underway.
Early indications suggest the incident was because of the high speed of the small bus while taking a U-turn from a narrow lane in front of the lorry.
The safety of the regional road is being re-evaluated.
Traffic accidents claim thousands of lives each year in the North African country.
Egypt has a poor road safety record with speeding, bad roads and poor law enforcement all highlighted as factors in previous deadly road incidents.
