Police continue to investigate murder of 49-year-old woman

A 49-year-old woman of non-Chinese descent went missing and was suspected of being murdered. The police are investigating the case in the direction of murder.
The police sent officers to the Nim Wan landfill in Tuen Mun to search for evidence in the morning, mobilising several police cars and more than 100 police officers from the search team, mobile unit and West Kowloon Crime Squad.
Several police officers put on white protective equipment and brought hoes and other tools to prepare for the search. The search is expected to continue until the afternoon.
The woman was last seen in a tenement building on Castle Peak Road in Cheung Sha Wan. The police explained the case earlier, saying that a non-Chinese man could not rule out the possibility of murdering the missing woman of non-Chinese descent due to a dispute over money. It is reported that the suspect has no record of leaving the city.
