15th National Games expects to receive over three million spectators

The 15th National Games will be jointly organised by Guangdong province, Hong Kong and Macao in November. The Games' organising committee estimates over three million tickets for the sporting event will be sold.
To be held in 19 cities, including Hong Kong, Macao and Guangzhou, the National Games and National Special Olympic Games consist of 57 and 46 events, respectively.
Such numbers make this the largest National Games to date.
The Guangdong provincial executive committee said Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao will deploy the same platform for ticket purchasing. A real-name ticketing system will be implemented.
The National Games organising committee, meanwhile, said that they expect to announce ticket prices before September.
While Guangdong will host the majority of the sports events, Hong Kong will do so for eight of them, such as track cycling, fencing and beach volleyball.
The opening and closing ceremonies will take place in Guangzhou. Authorities said preparation for the tournament's opening has entered the final stage and rehearsals could be carried out from July.
