89 suspected illegal workers arrested over the past month

The Immigration Department arrested 89 suspected illegal workers over the past month.
Nine were legally allowed to work here but were doing other jobs. The illegal workers were apprehended by immigration officials.
More than half of the 89 suspected illegal workers are non-Chinese and the rest are mainlanders.
Sixty of them worked in the catering industry as delivery riders, dish washers and waiters.
Twenty-one held fabricated or other people's ID cards, while nine were imported workers suspected of violating the conditions of stay by working in locations other that those specified.
