4.3 magnitude earthquake in Guangdong's Qingyuan City

Qingyuan City in Guangdong Province experienced a 4.3 magnitude earthquake at 6.48 p.m. with a focal depth of 10 kilometres.
Some local residents said they felt the tremors.
A CCTV camera inside a Qingyuan resident's home captured the moment the quake began shaking the room violently.
Large cracks were seen on the road in the city centre.
The epicentre of the tremors was around 55 kilometres north of Guangzhou.
Assessments for damages caused by the earthquake are yet to be known.
This as the observatory noted the epicentre was around 180 kilometres northwest of Hong Kong.
Local weather authorities received more than a 100 reports of people feeling tremors that lasted for several seconds.
