590,000 Kai Tak concert-goers recorded since March

Since its opening in March this year, Kai Tak Sports Park has hosted 15 large-scale concerts, with attendance exceeding the total of the city's three major concert venues.
In a response to a written question from a Legislative Council member, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau said the Kai Tak Main Stadium and Kai Tak Arena had received 590,000 people by the end of May. Over half of them came from the mainland and overseas.
The city's other three main concert venues, including AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong Coliseum and Queen Elizabeth Stadium, received a total of 510,000 people during the same period.
