China's first Olympic long-distance running gold medalist Wang Junxia has become a Hong Kong resident.
Wang was joined by her daughter, a fellow runner, at an event hosted by the government's Hong Kong Talent Engage office and the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
Hong Kong's own Olympian, windsurfer Lee Lai Shan also took part in the welcoming event.
Wang said that she had been promoting sports and healthy living ever since her retirement. She said she hopes to contribute to Hong Kong's future sports development.
