Aircraft manufacturers are targeting fuel efficiency as they promote their latest planes at the Paris Air Show this year.
It's an aviation enthusiast's heaven. The Paris Air Show opened and the airfield at Le Bourget is filled with aircraft of all shapes and sizes.
There is also a mock up of the 777-X - the latest in aircraft. The first in the family - the 777-9- is expected to go into service next year.
But activists staged a protest outside denouncing the participation of Israeli defense companies amid the ongoing war in Gaza.
They accused the French government of complicity in enabling arms deals with a country they say is commiting acts of genocide.
