Police pistol discharges at HK Island headquarters with no one injured

A police pistol was accidentally discharged inside the Hong Kong Island Regional Headquarters at around 3 p.m. No one was injured.
Police said a male officer was unloading his service pistol in the designated unloading area when a round was unexpectedly fired. The force said it maintains strict protocols regarding the handling of firearms. The incident is now under internal investigations.
