PLA to open three HK barracks for public visit this weekend

To celebrate the handover of the Hong Kong SAR and the 28th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army (PLA)'s presence in the city, the PLA will open three military barracks to the public this weekend.
The Hong Kong Garrison said on its WeChat official account that it will open their barracks at Stonecutters Island, Shek Kong and San Wai to the public on Saturday and Sunday.
Activities include the flag-raising ceremony, military demonstrations, equipment displays and tastings of military rations.
A total of 15,000 tickets will be made available. Ticket reservations begin on Wednesday.
There will be three booking times per day at 10 a.m., 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. via the PLA's official WeChat account.
The Stonecutters Island Barracks will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shek Kong Barracks and San Wai Barracks will be open from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
