The number of injured in Israel has gone past 500 and people are worried the conflict could escalate further.
"it's pretty shocking to see our little neighbourhood, peaceful and quiet, so devastated by some missiles that arrived from 3,000 kilometres away from here", one resident says.
Another says he was lucky to escape to a safe room in time.
His apartment is gone but he's in favour of Israel's strikes on Iran.
In the face of mounting civilian casualties and residents needing to be rescued and relocated, the IDF say Israel is damaging Iran and has eliminated "essentially all of their senior commanders."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defiant as he visited his Air Force saying Israel is succeeding thanks to "heroic pilots."
He said: "We are on the way to achieving our goals: eliminating the nuclear threat and eliminating the missile threat."

The IDF say they blew it up and released the footage saying after destroying much of the threat, they have "full air control over Tehran."
The foreign ministry in Tehran calls it Israeli aggression and says Iran is acting in self defence adding that talk of negotiations are meaningless in the current circumstances.

Concluding by telling journalists Iran's nuclear ambitions are, and have always been, peaceful.
Most governments are warning against travel to the region.
Fifty thousand flyers have already been impacted.
Israel's main international airport has been closed since Friday and remains shuttered making it difficult for people to leave.
