New Delhi-bound Air India plane returns to HK after suspected technical problem

An Air India Boeing 787 airliner travelling from Hong Kong to New Delhi had to turn back mid-flight after the pilot suspected some technical irregularities.
The 787-8 Dreamliner with the flight number AI315 departed from Hong Kong at around noon, before returning to the city and safely landing at 1 p.m. after an announcement was made of suspected technical problems.
No injuries were reported.
Air India operates a pair of flights travelling between Hong Kong and the Indian capital city each day.
All flights in recent days used a 787 carrier.
This as over two hundred passengers died from a plane crash involving the same Boeing model four days ago.
