Not everyone agrees with what Trump has been pushing for in his second term.

Chants of opposition against Trump heard across the streets of America as protestors accuse the president of being a tyrannical figure.

He is not making America great again.

He acts like a king.

He's trying to be a dictator.

He's destroying our country from within.

Frightening, very frightening.

That's what makes America great.

Love not hate.

Cherry, who organised the local anti-Trump protest in the town of San Luis Obispo in California, said the crowd turned up to defend core American values.

It's a country of immigrants.

It's a melting pot that is so beautiful and is completely being homogenised and destroyed by Trump and his cronies.

Sean, a Los Angeles resident who works in the insurance sector, said since the start of Trump's second term, those around him have talked much less, fearing that any discussion about politics will end friendships or even cut familial ties.

He noted that the U.S. has always been proud of its freedom of speech, but many are now worried that they will be targeted for any criticism directed at the administration.

I have a young daughter.

I wonder about what she's going to grow into.

Are we going to have the benefits of democracy that we have right now?

Freedom of speech?
