Venice activists target Bezos ahead of his wedding in the city

Activists in Venice, who have been campaigning for decades against mass tourism, have now set their sights on American multi-billionaire businessman and Amazon's founder, Jeff Bezos.
Bezos and his fiance Lauren Sanchez are expected to marry in Venice at the end of June.
The wedding guests will occupy the luxury hotels in Venice and will gather for a few days with the city already overloaded with tourists in high season.
Posters have been placed around the city in protest against the Amazon founder.
Many read "no space for Bezos" and urged residents to demonstrate against the wedding.
However, the campaign is not supported by local mayor Luigi Brugnaro.
Brugnaro told the Associated Press "he was proud Venice had been chosen by Bezos for the wedding."
