Nansha to transform 8-hectare area into startup collaboration plaftform

Authorities from Nansha, Guangzhou today held an event to introduce a project that will open up the district.
The event was held in Wan Chai this morning. Nansha authorities say the plan aims to transform an area of 8 square kilometres in the district.
They plan to introduce Hong Kong healthcare and establish a startup collaboration platform in the area.
The purpose is to promote cooperation between Nansha and Hong Kong.
Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Bernard Chan said about 3,000 Hong Kong enterprises have set up shop in Nansha. Chan said Hong Kong will use its advantages to assist Nansha in attracting global talent and funds.
