CE says Arts Development Council to continue support aspiring artists

The Chief Executive reacted to the announcement of Hong Kong-born pianist Aristo Sham who won the top prize at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition this past weekend.
John Lee said he is one of many Hong Kong artists achieving success on the international level and that the Arts Development Council would continue to support aspiring artists.
He said an expert group exists within the Arts Development Council to explore how assitance and support may be provided to develop the arts in Hong Kong, including donations and subsidies.
