Trump sounds off on 'incompetent' California officials amid protests

U.S. President Donald Trump took aim at California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who led the opposition to his National Guard deployment, by describing them as "incompetent" to handle the protests. 

Defence secretary Pete Hegseth has threatened to send active-duty Marines "if the violence continues." NBC reports.
