Police officer injured after leaping off flyover near HK-Shenzhen Western Corridor

A police officer has suffered serious injury after leaping off the bridge during a bus crash at the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor, also known for the main component Shenzhen Bay Bridge.
A Citybus and a police car could be seen at one of the traffic lanes.
Police received a report about the incident at around 5:30 p.m. that a poilce car had stopped on the carriageway towards Shenzhen Bay to handle a case involving a broken-down vehicle.
A Citybus trailing behind allegedly failed to brake in time and crashed into the police car.
The impact pushed the police car forward, causing it to collide with a taxi.
Reportedly, a police officer in his 30s was forced to leap off the flyover to avoid being hit.
Sustaining serious injury, the officer was sent to hospital while being conscious.
A bus driver and several passengers are also injured.
