The International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum organised by the two-day Boao Forum for Asia has kicked off in Hong Kong.
Held at the Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event explores quantum technology and AI-related issues, as well as how Hong Kong can leverage its role as a gateway between the mainland and the world to drive global tech collaboration. A youth delegate from Laos underscored the need to close the digital divide and build a more inclusive global environment.
Forum Secretary-General Zhang Jun, meanwhile, encouraged young participants to use the Boao platform to engage in tech-related dialogue on the world stage.
