In the U.S., the Manhattan district attorney's office quoted extensively from the diary of Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the killing of insurance CEO Brian Thompson on the streets of Manhattan last December.

The diary highlighted his desire to kill an insurance honcho and praised Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber.
