2 women arrested in Sha Tau Kok for smuggling pets

Two women, aged 55 and 32, were arrested for smuggling one kitten and two puppies into Hong Kong.
The animals were concealed in handbags on their bicycle after they entered the SAR via the Chung Ying Street Checkpoint in Sha Tau Kok.
The case has been handed over to the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department for investigation.
