Suspected wartime grenade found on the Peak

A suspected wartime hand grenade was discovered in Lugard Road on Victoria Peak.
The police received reports at around 3 p.m. of passersby finding a 10-centimetre-long suspected grenade at the junction of Lugard Road and Harlech Road.
Authorities cordoned off an area within 50 metres of the site upon arrival.
Members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau arrived on the scene to detonate the suspected weapon.
