A couple was arrested for assault after a dispute turned violent at a public housing estate in Tuen Mun.
Police say the incident involved "Uncle Ho" and his wife -- the couple who garnered the attention of netizens and even authorities after family bickering over the relationship and their financial affairs.
The argument escalated in the corridor outside their home where Ho allegedly used a folding knife to slash his wife's head. He also sustained a finger injury, reportedly after being bitten.
Both were taken to Tuen Mun Hospital in stable condition. Detectives are investigating the case as assault.
