Disruption from Tuen Mun water pipe burst continues into second night

Two Yuen Long-bound lanes on Tuen Mun Road remained cordoned off for the second consecutive night as a result of a burst water pipe.
This as some lawmakers suggested the need for large-scale replacement and repair works for the city's aging water infrastructure.
The Transport Department announced two lanes on Tuen Mun Road near the Siu Hong MTR Station will remain closed until at least 5 a.m.
An estimated 200,000 people have been affected.
