Drug bust at HK airport, involving cocaine and cannabis buds worth $11m

Hong Kong Customs arrested a man and a woman at the airport on suspicion of drug trafficking.
In the two cases, authorities seized drugs with an estimated market value of about 11 million dollars.
They include 12 kilograms of suspected cocaine and about 5.4 kilograms of suspected cannabis buds.
One suspect is an 18-year-old male passenger who arrived in Hong Kong from Johannesburg, South Africa today.
The suspected cocaine worth about 9.5 million dollars was found concealed in 12 packets inside his carry-on suitcase.
Another 26-year-old foreign female passenger arrived in Hong Kong from Bangkok, Thailand yesterday.
10 bags of suspected cannabis buds worth about 1.2 million dollars were found inside her check-in suitcase.
