Rare owl chick spurs restricted access at Kadoorie Farm

Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden announced on social media that, after four years of anticipation, a rare brown wood owl has successfully bred again within the grounds.
As news spread, bird watchers flocked to the farm's conservation zone, hoping to catch a glimpse of the young owl.
The farm said its priority is to protect the newly hatched chick from disturbance. The park will close off nearby roads and restrict visitor access.
Staff are also monitoring to prevent people from using laser pointers.
