Aggressive Construction Company to be banned on June 20th

The Development Bureau announced today that the Aggressive Construction Company, which is linked to a number of serious industrial incidents, will be removed from the official registered list of contractors starting from June 20th.
The Company was involved in three fatal incidents in recent years resulting in five deaths and six injuries.
Bernadette Linn, Secretary for Development said the decision to revoke its license was based on suggestions from the Contractors Registration Committee, which deems the contractor to conduct poor safety awareness and insufficient site supervision.
Six projects including three public housing developments will be affected and Linn said replacement contractors will be arranged as soon as possible.
