The Hong Kong government has introduced nine new tourist attractions.

Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration, Cheuk Wing-hing, highlighted that these projects can be implemented quickly and cost effectively.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board invited Japanese celebrity Mitsuki Kimura, known as Koki, the daughter of Takuya Kimura to take a ride on the iconic Hong Kong Island tram, visiting the heritage site Tai Kwun in Central, and enjoying a night cruise on the "Aqua Luna" boat for the stunning Victoria Harbour views.

She says every corner of Hong Kong is filled with inspirations.

The nine tourism hotspot projects are designed to cater to a wide range of interests, including eco-tourism, popular photo spots and cultural experiences.

Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration Cheuk Wing-hing noted there is a growing trend where visitors aim to see as many attractions as possible in a short period of time, prompting the need for diverse tourism products.

He says even day-trippers contribute to Hong Kong's economy through transportation and dining expenses.

Responding to concerns about the potential impact of tourism on nature sites, Cheuk said authorities will encourage responsible tourism on different platforms such as RedNote, and that he has confidence in visitors' considerate behaviour.

The Tourism Board plans to continue collaborating with international influencers to maximise tourism.
