In southwestern Pakistan, a suicide car bomber struck a school bus on Wednesday, leaving at least five dead and 38 injured.

Pakistani authorities accused "Indian terror proxies" of involvement in the attack. New Delhi rejected the allegation and called it baseless.

The bombing took place in the city of Khuzdar in Pakistan's restive Balochistan Province. It was said to have targeted a school bus which was picking children of military officials in the morning.

Officials say three kids and two adults have been killed. The death toll may rise as several children remained in critical condition.

Video footage showed scattered debris, blood stain, student books, shoes, and broken cables at the scene.

No group has yet claimed responsibility.

The chief minister of Baluchistan strongly condemned the brutality of the attack.
