Cat was used to carry drug to prison in Costa Rica

Video has emerged showing Costa Rican prison officials catching a cat with packages of illegal drugs strapped to its body.
An officer at the Pococ prison in northeastern Costa Rica spotted the cat in a green area of the facility and sounded the alarm earlier this month. The officers on duty managed to catch the cat and remove the packages, preventing the drugs from reaching their final recipient.
One of the packages was found to contain 235.65 grams of suspected marijuana and the other 67.76 grams of suspected crack paste and two sheets of rolling paper, police said.
The drugs were seized by the prison police and coordination was made with the Costa Rican National Animal Health Service to provide care for the cat.
