HK dragon boat races return with global teams and festive flair

The 2025 Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races are set to take place on June 7 to 8 along the Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade, co-organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and the Hong Kong China Dragon Boat Association.
The event will feature over 190 teams from 12 countries and regions, bringing together approximately 4,500 athletes to compete in various race categories. They include international open, mixed, and women's championships.
A Dragon Boat Food Street will line the Avenue of Stars from May 31 to June 8, offering dragon boat-themed delicacies across 10 stalls, along with a panda-themed photo spot.
Meanwhile, a San Miguel Beer Garden will be set up at Urban Council Centenary Garden in Tsim Sha Tsui East on June 7 to 8, featuring live music and performances.
